New toning fitness shoes?

Have you seen the craze of the new fitness shoes everywhere that claim everything from making your body look more toned along with weight loss?
It is difficult to measure whether or not “toning shoes” really work because currently there is insufficient data on the effects of these shoes. These shoes all create a degree of instability when you walk which will alter the way your muscles respond to an activity like walking. The question is whether or not this change is beneficial, benign, or possibly harmful. When I tried “toning shoes,” I experienced some muscle soreness, but only in the lower leg. I do not recommend using these shoes in any fitness endeavor. Only time will tell whether or not the claims of muscle activation in the gluteus, hamstrings, and calves is really true. I’m doubtful.
